Every name here was read out of a Form 3 or Form 4 — the ownership filings an officer, director or 10% holder files with the SEC in their own name. That is why the roles read the way they do: they are the strings the filing used, near-duplicate casings and all, rather than titles we tidied up afterwards. Where the filing carried a CIK we keep it, and it is the only thing that reliably follows one person from one vehicle to the next — 6,094 of the 6,225 names on file have one.
Sponsor entities are not in here. Form 3/4 is filed as often by a sponsor LLC or L.P. as by a person, and those rows keep their real SPAC roles in the database — they are simply not directors, so `isEntityName` keeps them out of a directory of people. The counts on this page are all taken after that filter, which is why they will not match a raw row count anywhere else.
A serial ×N chip counts the distinct vehicles we hold a role for, and nothing more. It is not a verdict on anybody: recurring across vehicles is ordinary work in this industry, and the chart above is here so the chip can be read against the field instead of as an accusation. Nor is the reverse a finding — a name that appears once appears once in our record, which is a statement about how much of EDGAR we have parsed, not about a career.
The directory renders the 200 names sitting on the most vehicles. The rest are all reachable — search matches the whole corpus, not the page — and each person has a page of their own with the vehicles, the roles and the filings behind them.
