Omeed Malik is an American banker, business executive, and attorney currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Colombier Acquisition Corp. III (NYSE: CLBR), the third blank-check company in his Colombier SPAC series, which raised approximately $260–$299 million in its initial public offering priced in early 2026 with Roth Capital Partners as left lead. He is also the Founder and CEO of Farvahar Partners, a boutique merchant bank and broker-dealer based in Palm Beach, Florida, that advises venture-backed companies and institutional investors on capital raising, advisory, and liquidity services, and the Co-Founder and President of 1789 Capital, a growth equity investment firm focused on financing companies in what it terms the Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Growth ("EIG") economy. Through Knights Court LLC, Malik manages Colombier Sponsor III LLC, the sponsor entity of the third SPAC, and has reported beneficial ownership of over 10.1 million Class A and Class B ordinary shares. He serves on the Board of Directors of Fannie Mae, is a minority owner of the right-of-center media outlet The Daily Caller, and is a co-owner of the Executive Branch, a Trump-aligned private club in Washington, D.C. that opened in 2025. He was formerly a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Malik's prior SPAC track record includes Colombier Acquisition Corp. I, which completed a business combination with PublicSq. (Public Square Holdings), a values-aligned marketplace platform, in 2023, and Colombier Acquisition Corp. II, which announced a $197 million merger with GrabAGun, a mobile-focused online firearms retailer, in January 2025 and completed the transaction in July 2025, with the combined entity trading on the NYSE under the ticker PEW. Donald Trump Jr. participated as a shareholder and advisor in the GrabAGun deal. Before founding his own firms, Malik was a Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he ran the Prime Brokerage business and founded and led the Emerging Manager Program within Global Equities, charged with selecting hedge funds for the firm to partner with and overseeing allocation of financing, capital strategy, business consulting, and talent resources. He departed Bank of America in January 2018 and subsequently filed a $100 million arbitration claim against the bank alleging defamation, retaliation, breach of contract, and discrimination; the case was settled in July 2018 with an eight-figure payment to Malik. Earlier, he was a Senior Vice President at MF Global, where he helped reorganize the firm's global distribution platform and developed execution and clearing relationships with institutional clients. He began his career as a corporate lawyer at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York, specializing in capital markets, corporate governance, private equity, and bankruptcy, and also held staff roles in both the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives, including as a spokesperson for U.S. Representative Donald M. Payne (D-NJ) in 1999.
Malik holds a Juris Doctor with honors from Emory University School of Law, where he serves on the Advisory Board, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science, cum laude, from Colgate University (2001). He holds multiple FINRA registrations including Series 7, 63, 3, 79, and 24. Born in 1979 or 1980 in New Jersey to an Iranian mother and Pakistani father, Malik lived in New York until 2020 when he relocated to Florida. 1789 Capital, which he co-founded alongside Christopher Buskirk and Rebekah Mercer, made its first investment in 2023 into the new media company led by Tucker Carlson and Neil Patel, and in 2024 Donald Trump Jr. joined the firm rather than taking a position in the second Trump administration. Malik has been politically active, having donated to Democrats including Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign and Joe Biden's 2020 campaign before switching to Republican giving beginning in July 2019, subsequently supporting Donald

This record is keyed to SEC CIK 0001865734 — the identifier this person files under in their own name. Every vehicle above is a filing made under that CIK, so “the same person on two shells” is a fact about an SEC identifier rather than about a name that happens to match.
Roles are the strings the filings used, in the order they were filed. Nothing on this page ranks them, infers seniority, or offers a reason why any two of these names recur — a recurrence is a count, and the filings that produced it are linked beside every row.
