Michael Blitzer is a New York-based financier and serial SPAC sponsor who serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. VI (Nasdaq: IPFX), a blank check company that priced a $220 million IPO in March 2026 targeting technology-enabled businesses in North America and Europe. He has been a director of IPFX since September 2025 and Chairman since December 2025. Blitzer is the founder and Managing Partner of Inflection Point Asset Management, the financial sponsor of strategically important assets in critical infrastructure, and the founder and Co-CEO of Kingstown Capital Management, which he established in 2006. He controls each of the Inflection Point Fund entities, Inflection Point Asset Management LLC, and the various Inflection Point Holdings LLCs that serve as sponsors for his SPAC platform. Cantor Fitzgerald acted as sole bookrunner on the IPFX IPO, which offered 22 million units at $10.00 per unit, each consisting of one share of common stock and one-third of a warrant exercisable at $11.50.
Blitzer has built one of the most active SPAC platforms in the market, having led six Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. vehicles to date. He first served as co-CEO and director of Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. from February 2021 until the completion of its business combination with Intuitive Machines, LLC in February 2023, a deal that produced a roughly 92% return from the $10 offer price. He then served as Chairman and CEO of Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. II (IPXX) from March 2023 until the closing of its business combination with USA Rare Earth in March 2025, a transaction that delivered approximately 60% from the offer price. He has served as Chairman and CEO of Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. III (IPCX), which announced a definitive agreement for its initial business combination with Air Water Ventures Holdings Limited on August 25, 2025, and as Chairman and CEO of Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. V (IPEX) since September 2025, which announced a definitive agreement for its business combination with GOWell Technology Limited on October 14, 2025. Blitzer also served as President, CEO, and director of Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. IV (IPDX) from July 2025 until the completion of its initial business combination with Merlin Labs, Inc. in March 2026.
Beyond his SPAC leadership roles, Blitzer maintains an active public company board portfolio tied to his completed business combinations. He currently sits on the board of directors and audit committee of Intuitive Machines, Inc. (Nasdaq: LUNR), the space exploration company that was his first SPAC's merger partner. He serves as Chairman of USA Rare Earth, Inc. (Nasdaq: USAR), a rare earth miner and explorer, and sits on the board of directors and the nominating and corporate governance committee of Merlin, Inc. (Nasdaq: MRLN), an AI-enabled autonomous flight company. His insider trading activity reflects significant personal investment across these portfolio companies, including purchases of USA Rare Earth shares totaling over $2.1 million in January 2026 and Intuitive Machines share purchases of approximately $2.2 million in November 2025, alongside substantial option awards and equity positions in each of his SPAC vehicles and their post-combination successors.
Blitzer is based in New York, New York, where the Inflection Point platform is headquartered at 167 Madison Avenue. His SPAC VI filing was made on December 23, 2025, and the offering priced on March 26, 2026, with shares expected to trade on Nasdaq under the symbol IPFXU. Across his completed transactions, Blitzer has demonstrated a consistent track record of identifying and executing business combinations with companies in disruptive growth sectors, ranging from space exploration and rare earth mining to autonomous flight and atmospheric water generation, with post-combination returns that have significantly outperformed the typical SPAC benchmark. His platform's foc
This record is keyed to SEC CIK 0001458423 — the identifier this person files under in their own name. Every vehicle above is a filing made under that CIK, so “the same person on two shells” is a fact about an SEC identifier rather than about a name that happens to match.
Roles are the strings the filings used, in the order they were filed. Nothing on this page ranks them, infers seniority, or offers a reason why any two of these names recur — a recurrence is a count, and the filings that produced it are linked beside every row. We also hold 295 institutional-holder rows on these vehicles, under 109 distinct name strings, and none of them is counted across vehicles: that table has no CIK column, and matching holders by name would merge firms that are not the same firm.
