About this list

10 SPACs have a dated redemption election ahead of them — a redemption deadline, an extension vote or a merger vote, each of which opens a window in which a holder may hand shares back for trust cash. All of them are parsed from proxy statements and 8-K filings and sorted by how soon the clock runs out.

Contractual outside dates are deliberately not on this list. An outside date is a long-stop between the SPAC and its target: it can end a deal, but it hands a shareholder nothing and opens no window, so putting one under this heading would misdescribe 270 rows as chances to take the cash. Those dates are still tracked — they live on the calendar, next to the elections they are not.

Read each row as a countdown with a decision attached. Price against trust tells you what taking the exit is worth today; the event type tells you whether a fresh window will follow (extensions usually reopen one, a merger vote never does). The date shown is the official one from the filing — brokers require instructions earlier, commonly by one to two business days, and an unused right simply lapses.

Common questions

What is a SPAC redemption deadline?

The cutoff by which shareholders must demand redemption and have their broker deliver shares to the transfer agent — typically 5:00 p.m. ET two business days before the related meeting. Miss it and the shares stay shares; nothing is redeemed for you automatically.

How many SPACs have redemption deadlines coming up?

10 at the moment, counting redemption deadlines, extension votes and merger votes — every dated event at which a holder may actually elect to take trust cash. Contractual outside dates are excluded because they open no window. The list refreshes as new proxies are filed and meetings conclude, so the population turns over continuously.

Is the official deadline the date I should act on?

No — it is the transfer agent's date. Your broker's internal cutoff comes first, usually one to two business days earlier, and varies by broker. Work back from the official date and confirm the exact cutoff with your broker's corporate-actions desk as soon as the proxy is filed.
