About this list

29 SPACs have come public in the last 120 days, listed here straight from their final IPO prospectuses (424B4 filings) with size, trust funding and unit structure. A fresh SPAC is the asset at its simplest: units sold at $10.00, a trust seeded at or slightly above that, the full 18-to-24-month search runway still unspent.

What to look for in a new listing: whether the sponsor overfunded the trust (a starting value above $10.00 is a real, immediate cushion), how rich the unit sweetener is (a whole warrant signals a harder sell than a quarter-warrant), and who the sponsor's previous vehicles were. Components begin trading separately around 52 days after the IPO, which is when the unit price stops being the only quote and the share can find its own level against trust.

Common questions

How many SPACs have IPO'd recently?

29 in the last 120 days on this tracker. The pace of new listings is itself a market signal — issuance clusters when recent de-SPAC returns and short-term rates make the structure attractive to sponsors and IPO buyers at the same time.

Why does a brand-new SPAC trade so close to $10?

Because that is roughly what its share can claim from the trust, and nothing has happened yet to justify any other price. With the deadline far away and no deal to judge, the share is essentially a Treasury claim with an embedded option on a future announcement.

When do new SPAC units split into shares and warrants?

Separate trading of the components typically begins about 52 days after the IPO, on a date fixed in the prospectus. After the split you can hold or sell the share, warrant or right independently — before it, only the whole unit trades.
