$10.00–$15.00 per share, paid at merger and extension windows. No winding-up distribution is on file, so this is not a liquidation range.

About this list

361 SPACs on this tracker came off the live board without completing a deal: 342 wound up and returned the trust, 12 had an announced combination terminated, 7 are drifting as zombies. Those endings are not interchangeable and only one of them pays. A termination kills the merger agreement and leaves the trust exactly where it was, so a terminated vehicle can go back to searching and its shares still carry a redemption right at the next window — read a "Deal terminated" row as a deal that died, not as money returned.

Wind-ups are 95% of this page — 342 of the 361 rows — so this is a graveyard far more than it is a list of broken deals. When a SPAC liquidates the structure works as designed: the trust goes back to public shareholders with its accumulated interest and deposits, while warrants and rights expire at zero and the sponsor writes off its at-risk capital. That is the whole point of separating the two columns of endings above.

Base rates matter more than any pitch deck, so the denominator is printed too: 1288 SPACs tracked in total. Everyone who paid a premium over trust for warrants, rights or deal hope funded the outcomes on this page.

Common questions

What do shareholders get when a SPAC liquidates?

The full trust value per share — the IPO deposit plus accumulated Treasury interest and any extension deposits, minus small permitted deductions for taxes and winding-up costs; only warrant and rights holders walk away with nothing. We hold no winding-up distribution on file, so there is no liquidation range for us to quote you. What we do have, from primary filings, is 240 per-share redemption prices paid at merger and extension windows, running from $10.00 to $15.00 — the same trust arithmetic, settled earlier in a SPAC's life.

Is a terminated deal the same as a liquidation?

No, and the difference decides whether you get paid. A termination kills the merger agreement; the SPAC keeps its trust and usually resumes searching, so its shares still carry a redemption right at the next window. A liquidation dissolves the vehicle and returns the trust. This page lists both because both are ways a deal ends — the status column tells you which one you are looking at.

How many SPACs have liquidated or terminated?

361 on this tracker so far — 12 terminated, 7 zombie, 342 liquidated — out of 1288 tracked. The count matters as a denominator: any claim about typical SPAC outcomes that ignores the vehicles that quietly returned their cash is survivorship bias in action.
