Louis R. Zurita is a seasoned entrepreneur, real estate investor, and public company director who currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cantor Equity Partners VII, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAES), a $250 million blank-check SPAC that priced its IPO in June 2026 and is led by Chairman and CEO Brandon G. Lutnick and CFO Jane Novak. Zurita was appointed to the CAES board alongside Danny H. Salinas, and he filed a clean Form 3 insider ownership statement shortly after the offering. CAES targets businesses in financial services, digital assets, healthcare, real estate services, technology, software, and energy, leveraging the Cantor Fitzgerald platform. Zurita's broader Cantor Fitzgerald relationship is extensive: he has served as a director of Cantor Equity Partners II, Inc. since May 2025 (which entered a definitive business combination agreement with Securitize, Inc. in October 2025), and he is an Independent Trustee of the Cantor Fitzgerald Infrastructure Fund (since March 2022) and Cantor Select Portfolios (since April 2022), both continuously offered, closed-end interval funds and Delaware statutory trusts, respectively. He has also served as a Trustee of the Cantor Fitzgerald Commodity Return Strategy Fund and Cantor Fitzgerald Commodity Return Strategy Portfolio.
Zurita's prior SPAC and exchange governance experience is notable. He was a board member of CF Acquisition Corp. V from January 2021 through the consummation of its business combination with Satellogic, Inc. in January 202202, and a director of CF Acquisition Corp. IV from December 2020 until its liquidation in December 2023. He also served on the board of Cantor Futures Exchange L.P. ("Cantor Exchange") from December 2016 to November 2021 and chaired its Regulatory Oversight Committee from February 2018 through November 2021. Since 2017, he has been a board member of Remate Lince S.A.P.I. de C.V., a Mexican broker-dealer. Beyond financial services, Zurita co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Viagrupo, a leading e-commerce platform in the Dominican Republic, from May 2011 until March 2020. He is also the founder and principal of Zurita Development and the managing member of multiple real estate investment vehicle companies, including 20095th Street, LLC (multi-family real estate investments, since 2018) and 275-related entities, with over 30 years of experience owning, operating, acquiring, and developing commercial and residential real estate across the United States and the Caribbean.
Educationally, Zurita holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MS in Dynamics of Organization from the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.Arch from the Pratt Institute School of Architecture. Born in 1960 and approximately 65 years old, he is based in New York and maintains an active professional network that includes senior figures across the Cantor Fitzgerald ecosystem, such as Howard W. Lutnick, Steven Bisgay (CFO of Clear Street Group), and Jane Novak. His career reflects a rare combination of architecture-trained real estate development expertise, emerging-market entrepreneurial leadership, and deep involvement in the SPAC and regulated financial exchange space through the Cantor Fitzgerald platform.
This record is keyed to SEC CIK 0001836852 — the identifier this person files under in their own name. Every vehicle above is a filing made under that CIK, so “the same person on two shells” is a fact about an SEC identifier rather than about a name that happens to match.
Roles are the strings the filings used, in the order they were filed. Nothing on this page ranks them, infers seniority, or offers a reason why any two of these names recur — a recurrence is a count, and the filings that produced it are linked beside every row. We also hold 48 institutional-holder rows on these vehicles, under 28 distinct name strings, and none of them is counted across vehicles: that table has no CIK column, and matching holders by name would merge firms that are not the same firm.
