Jaime Ward Vieser is a seasoned investment management executive and SPAC sponsor with over three decades of experience across banking, hedge funds, and private investing. He currently serves as manager of Brushwood LLC, a private investment firm he has led since January 2017, and is based in Summit, New Jersey. Vieser holds board seats at multiple public companies, including Alaunos Therapeutics Inc. (TCRT), where he is a director and member of both the Audit Committee and Nominating Committee, and Mountain Lake Acquisition Corp. (MLAC), where he served as an independent director and 10 percent owner. He is also affiliated with Mountain Lake Acquisition Corp. II (MLAA), having signed a letter agreement in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer, and has served as a director at Biotheryx, a privately held biotech company. His board tenure at MLAC began around late 2024, and at the time of the company's 2026 special meeting he had approximately 1.8 years of service on that board.
Vieser's career began in the Leveraged Finance division of Bankers Trust Company, a bank holding company later acquired by Deutsche Bank AG in 1999. He subsequently spent approximately ten years at Deutsche Bank AG in London, where he was responsible for the High Yield Sales and Trading Group. In 2009, Vieser founded Castle Hill Asset Management LLP, a multi-billion dollar asset manager and hedge fund, serving as Chief Executive Officer from 2009 to 2012 and later as Managing Partner and co-principal for nearly a decade. Bloomberg profiles also identify him as a former Chief Investment Officer of Castle Hill Asset Management LLC. His investment experience spans multiple asset classes and includes involvement in numerous corporate restructurings as well as providing start-up capital and guidance to emerging technology and biotech companies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Master's in Business Administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
In the SPAC arena, Vieser has been deeply involved with Mountain Lake Acquisition Corp., which completed its $230 million initial public offering on December 16, 2024, including a partial exercise of the underwriters' over-allotment option. At the IPO, Vieser acquired 25,000 Class A ordinary shares at $10 per share, a $250,000 commitment, and received an indirect interest in the sponsor's founder shares and private placement units through membership interests in Mountain Lake Acquisition Sponsor LLC. Specifically, he held an indirect interest in approximately 10.04% of the total founder shares and approximately 6.86% of the private placement units held by the sponsor. In June 2026, Vieser reported an internal equity restructuring in which he received 478,010 Class B ordinary shares through a pro rata distribution of assets by the sponsor LLC to its members, with no consideration paid. These Class B shares were set to convert into Class A ordinary shares on a one-for-one basis upon the company's initial business combination. Mountain Lake Acquisition Corp. announced a $675 million-plus business combination with Avalanche Treasury Corp. in October 2025, with the goal of building a $1 billion-plus ecosystem treasury, and the transaction closed on June 11, 2026, with the combined entity listing on Nasdaq. At Alaunos Therapeutics, Vieser has been a long-term and sizable shareholder, and his director awards and equity transactions there have been reported regularly through 2026, reflecting his ongoing engagement with the company's governance and financial oversight.
This record is keyed to SEC CIK 0001846045 — the identifier this person files under in their own name. Every vehicle above is a filing made under that CIK, so “the same person on two shells” is a fact about an SEC identifier rather than about a name that happens to match.
Roles are the strings the filings used, in the order they were filed. Nothing on this page ranks them, infers seniority, or offers a reason why any two of these names recur — a recurrence is a count, and the filings that produced it are linked beside every row. We also hold 4 institutional-holder rows on these vehicles, under 4 distinct name strings, and none of them is counted across vehicles: that table has no CIK column, and matching holders by name would merge firms that are not the same firm.
