Jerome "Jerry" Comstock Silvey Jr. is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of EQV Ventures Acquisition Corp. II (NYSE: EVAC), a blank-check company targeting the broadly defined energy industry with a primary focus on upstream exploration and production. He also serves as Chairman and CEO of the sponsor, EQV Group, which he founded in 2022 to pursue mature, long-life, and low-decline energy assets. Silvey led EQV's first SPAC, EQV Ventures Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: FTW/UN), which announced a $664 million business combination with Presidio Petroleum, a transaction that included a proposed $1 billion acquisition financing facility with Goldman Sachs and an $80 million letter of intent by Presidio to acquire producing assets. EQV II priced an upsized $420 million IPO in July 2025, upsized from an initial $350 million target, with BTIG serving as underwriter. Silvey owns approximately 0.14% of EQV II's shares.
Prior to founding EQV Group, Silvey built a distinguished career across real estate, energy, and structured investing. He joined Starwood Capital Group in 1993 and served as Vice Chairman, overseeing all of the firm's investor relations, debt financing, equity fundraising, treasury operations, investor reporting, and tax planning and compliance. In his later role at Starwood, he focused on fund-related activities and strategic planning. Before Starwood, he spent 13 years at Price Waterhouse. This record is keyed to SEC CIK 0002020960 — the identifier this person files under in their own name. Every vehicle above is a filing made under that CIK, so “the same person on two shells” is a fact about an SEC identifier rather than about a name that happens to match.
Roles are the strings the filings used, in the order they were filed. Nothing on this page ranks them, infers seniority, or offers a reason why any two of these names recur — a recurrence is a count, and the filings that produced it are linked beside every row. We also hold 14 institutional-holder rows on these vehicles, under 13 distinct name strings, and none of them is counted across vehicles: that table has no CIK column, and matching holders by name would merge firms that are not the same firm.
