Jeffrey H. Tepper is an Independent Director of CH4 Natural Solutions Corporation (NYSE: MTNE), a blank check company formed to effect a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, or similar business combination. CH4 Natural Solutions priced a $200 million IPO with an expected close on May 4, 2026, and Tepper was named to the board alongside directors including David M. Leuschen (Chairman and CEO), Dr. Jean Rogers, Nate Zwald, Lauren Singer, and Ben Veres. Tepper's term as a first-class director is set to expire at the company's first annual general meeting. He has also served on the board of directors of ANSC since November 2023. Prior to the SPAC's IPO, Tepper was named as a defendant in a civil lawsuit disclosed in the company's S-1 filing, though the details and outcome of that matter are not elaborated upon in the available sources.
Tepper is the founder of JHT Advisors LLC, an M&A advisory and investment firm. His extensive investment banking career spans over three decades. From 1987 to 1990, he was employed by Morgan Stanley & Co. as a financial analyst in the mergers and acquisitions and merchant banking departments. In 1990, he joined Gleacher & Company, Inc. (which he co-founded in 2001 according to MarketScreener) and served in a variety of senior management and operating roles through 2013. At Gleacher, he held the positions of Head of Investment Banking, President, and Managing Director, and was a member of the Firm's Management Committee. As Gleacher's former Chief Operating Officer, he oversaw operations, compliance, technology, and financial reporting. In 2001, Tepper co-founded Gleacher's asset management activities and served as President, with Gleacher managing over $1 billion of institutional capital across mezzanine capital and hedge fund strategies. He served on the Investment Committees of both Gleacher Mezzanine and Gleacher Fund Advisors. More recently, Tepper has also been engaged as Co-Founder and Head of Business Development at Gemini XIII, a role he began in September 2021 based in New York.
Beyond CH4 Natural Solutions, Tepper has accumulated a substantial portfolio of board seats across public companies and SPACs. He has served as a Director of Permian Resources Corporation since September 2022, having previously served as a Director for Centennial Resource Development from October 2016 to August 2022 (Centennial changed its name to Permian Resources in September 2022). His estimated net worth is at least $3.23 million as of March 2026, based on his holdings of 150,546 shares of Permian Resources stock. He has also served as a Director of Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corporation IV (since 2021), Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corporation III (2021), Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corp (2020 to July 2021), Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corporation II (2020 to 2022), and Alta Mesa Resources, Inc. (2017 to 2020). His SPAC board experience thus spans multiple vehicles across both the energy transition and traditional energy sectors.
Tepper holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in finance and accounting. He is based in New York. His career has combined deep expertise in M&A advisory, investment banking leadership, asset management, and public company governance, with a particular focus on the energy and decarbonization sectors in recent years through his multiple SPAC directorships and his role at Permian Resources, an independent oil and natural gas company focused on the Delaware Basin
This record is keyed to SEC CIK 0001665610 — the identifier this person files under in their own name. Every vehicle above is a filing made under that CIK, so “the same person on two shells” is a fact about an SEC identifier rather than about a name that happens to match.
Roles are the strings the filings used, in the order they were filed. Nothing on this page ranks them, infers seniority, or offers a reason why any two of these names recur — a recurrence is a count, and the filings that produced it are linked beside every row. We also hold 70 institutional-holder rows on these vehicles, under 34 distinct name strings, and none of them is counted across vehicles: that table has no CIK column, and matching holders by name would merge firms that are not the same firm.
