Seth Schorr is a Las Vegas-based gaming executive and entrepreneur who serves as an Independent Director on the board of BOA Acquisition Corp. II (Nasdaq: THEO.U), a special purpose acquisition company that priced a $125 million IPO in August 2026 and closed its upsized $143.75 million initial public offering shortly thereafter. Schorr holds 30,000 Class B ordinary shares of the SPAC, representing approximately 0.15% ownership, with those shares convertible into Class A ordinary shares on a one-for-one basis upon consummation of an initial business combination. He filed his initial Form 3 with the SEC on August 3, 2026, listing BOA Acquisition Corp. II's offices at 2600 Virginia Avenue NW, Suite T23, Washington, DC 20037. His role on the SPAC board draws on more than three decades of experience across the gaming, hospitality, entertainment, and digital technology sectors.
Schorr is best known as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Fifth Street Gaming, a Las Vegas-based gaming and hospitality company he established in 2006 (some sources cite 2008) with partner Jeffrey Fine. Fifth Street Gaming owns and operates five casinos, including the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino, where Schorr serves as Chairman, and Ojos Locos Sports Cantina y Casino at Hotel Jefe, the first casino in the United States created specifically for the Latino community. The firm's affiliate, LEV Restaurant Group, owns and manages more than 60 restaurants across the Las Vegas area and Southern California, including The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Jamba Juice, Lobster ME, JaBurritos, Daily Kitchen, Evel Pie, and Golden Tiki. Schorr began his career in 1991 on the executive leadership team at Wynn Resorts, where he developed the international marketing department in Macau, launched the Interactive Gaming division around 2000, and helped build The Wynn Collection of Fine Art. He also held positions at Mirage Resorts properties including Bellagio Hotel & Casino, The Mirage Hotel & Casino, Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, and the Golden Nugget Laughlin. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999, he worked as an executive in the marketing department at Bellagio, and between 2000 and 2003 served as Director of Interactive Gaming at Wynn Resorts. In 2003, he relocated to Macau to join the Wynn Macau development team, and a year later took a brief hiatus from the casino industry to create SMS Group, an asset recovery team in New York City, before returning to Las Vegas in 2006 to join and help build Fifth Street Gaming.
Beyond his casino operations, Schorr has been a pioneer at the intersection of gaming, esports, and digital media. In early 2015, he led the development of the first fully integrated esports program in a casino resort at the Downtown Grand, encompassing weekly contests, team residencies, sponsorships, broadcasts, and professional tournaments. In 2017, he launched Commercial Streaming Solutions, which developed the patent-pending BettorView media platform that delivers sports betting and esports content to casinos, bars, and stadiums nationwide. He is a founder of the Nevada Esports Alliance and was appointed to the Nevada Gaming Control Board's Esports Technical Advisory Committee. In 2021, Schorr founded JefeBet, a casino and entertainment brand targeting the U.S. Latino audience, whose rewards program drives marketing at the Ojos Locos property. He also sits on the board of GameCo, which developed the world's first video game slot machine, and was appointed to the board of directors of Skillz (NYSE: SKLZ), where he serves on the compensation committee. Additionally, he is a founding partner of GMA: A Modern Consulting Firm, bringing international casino expertise to advisory clients.
Schorr earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999. He is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and serves on numerous public and private boards and civic organizations, including the Las Vegas N
This record is keyed to SEC CIK 0001944554 — the identifier this person files under in their own name. Every vehicle above is a filing made under that CIK, so “the same person on two shells” is a fact about an SEC identifier rather than about a name that happens to match.
Roles are the strings the filings used, in the order they were filed. Nothing on this page ranks them, infers seniority, or offers a reason why any two of these names recur — a recurrence is a count, and the filings that produced it are linked beside every row. We also hold 2 institutional-holder rows on these vehicles, under 2 distinct name strings, and none of them is counted across vehicles: that table has no CIK column, and matching holders by name would merge firms that are not the same firm.
