  • What changed: Infinite Acquisition Corp. called an extraordinary general meeting for August 22, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, to extend the Termination Date from August 23, 2023. Within five business days of the meeting the Lender, being the Sponsor or its designees, deposits $120,000 into the Trust Account for a non-interest-bearing unsecured CONVERTIBLE promissory note, and up to fourteen further monthly extensions on the same $120,000 terms would bring the aggregate to $1,680,000. Why it matters: The extension deposits are funded by convertible notes, so the sponsor's $1,680,000 of advances can become equity in the survivor rather than being repaid in cash — dilution that grows with every month of delay. Fifteen additional months of extension authority granted in a single vote removes fourteen future redemption windows. Infinite ultimately liquidated, so the trust redemption available at this meeting was the value holders could actually capture.

Redemption deadlinethe last day to hand shares back for cash

Set by the filing that calls the meeting. Tender after it and the company is under no obligation to pay you the trust value.

Cash in trust / trust per sharethe cash the company is holding for each public share

Filed quarterly in the 10-Q's XBRL. It earns interest between filings, so the figure on a given day is slightly higher than the last filed one — where we show that we label it an estimate.
