  • What changed: Evergreen Corporation, a Cayman company headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, called an extraordinary general meeting for January 28, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. New York Time to amend its Articles so it may extend the Combination Period up to six times, one month each, from February 11, 2025 to August 11, 2025, and to amend the trust agreement accordingly. For each extension the company deposits the lesser of $80,000 or $0.04 per Class A ordinary share outstanding after redemptions. Why it matters: The board says outright there is no time to put the Forekast transaction to a shareholder vote before the deadline, so holders are being asked to fund six more months on faith. A deposit capped at $80,000 a month accretes the trust only marginally, and this follows an earlier cycle of twelve monthly extensions approved in July 2023 - eighteen months of extensions without a completed deal. Redemption at trust remains the certain exit.

Set by the filing that calls the meeting. Tender after it and the company is under no obligation to pay you the trust value.

Filed quarterly in the 10-Q's XBRL. It earns interest between filings, so the figure on a given day is slightly higher than the last filed one — where we show that we label it an estimate.
